LIKHY2 (pronounced LEAKY DOSE) IS AN ALTERNATIVE "SPANISH" ROCK BAND WITH A SONG OR TWO WITH SKA, REGGAE, PUNK, HIP-HOP, AND METAL INFLUENCES...

I am saddened to report that Bakotopia Land’s premier Spanish Rock band, LIKHY2, has called it quits after nine years on the local “underground“ rokero scene. We had our time in the sun, but it’s all over now. Our Latin percussionist, Jorge Urbina, has joined VELORIO. As for the rest of the band, well, they are basking on the edges of local fame. Taking each day as it comes their way.

So here I stand…with all of my reality at your hands.

My name is Salvador Plascencia, and I was LIKHY2’s manager during the 21^st century. I am a 34-year old graduate student at Point Loma University where I am studying to receive an M.A. in Education and a Special Education Teaching Credential. I graduated from Cal State, Bakersfield many semesters ago with a History degree. I am a middle school special ed teacher in South Central L.A. and a self-proclaimed Socialist.
