I love all kinds of music and have been a working vocalist, full time, for many years.  Now, I work part time, and also sing in Higher Ground Church. 

Bakersfield has an amazing amount of talent, in all genres.  I am proud of our heritage, and equally proud of all the new talent.

It is really hard to pick favorites, but as far as the female vocalists go, I would have to say the talents of Beverly Williams, Glenda Robles, and Kathy Moreno are truly God given, and among my top favorites.  Also, I loved the talent of the late Lori Malone.  She was a great entertainer, a dear friend, and I miss her a lot.
